What We Do

We connect private landlords with the public bodies that need housing. Local authorities, housing associations and the Home Office all have a duty to house people and a constant need for accommodation. We match your property to that need and arrange a lease under which the public body pays a fixed rent for one to five years.

For you, that means a guaranteed income with no voids, no tenant management and no day-to-day compliance to track, for the term of the lease. For the public body, it means a suitable home for a household that needs one. Our role is to bring the two together and keep the arrangement running smoothly throughout.

Why LandlordsTrust the Model

The security in this arrangement does not rest on RentPromise. It rests on the public body your lease is with. Because your lease is granted directly to a local authority, housing association or the Home Office, your rent comes from a public source, and the lease continues to stand even if RentPromise itself stopped trading.

That is a real difference from arrangements where a private company becomes your tenant and everything depends on that firm staying in business. Here, you keep ownership throughout, your counterparty is a public institution, and RentPromise is the agent that sets the arrangement up and runs it rather than the party you rely on for the rent.

How We Work

We start with a free survey and valuation of your property, then confirm the rent and the term we can offer. We match the property to a live requirement, arrange the lease with the public body, and take on the ongoing relationship, the rent handling and the management for the whole term, so you do not have to.

What that looks like for you

  • A free survey and a clear rent offer, with no obligation to proceed.
  • A lease granted directly to the public body, arranged by us on your behalf.
  • A fixed rent every month for the term, whether the property is occupied or not.
  • The tenant relationship and day-to-day compliance handled for you throughout.
  • One point of contact for the life of the lease.

Our fee reflects that work: a fee on signing, plus a monthly management fee quoted for your property and agreed before you sign. What you get in return is a hands-off, guaranteed income backed by a public-body lease, set up and run by a team that does this every day.
